How Prix Fixe works

We pick, you sip

Every quarter, we select the bottles we are most excited about. A mix of what is new, what is drinking beautifully right now, and the occasional surprise from the library. Releases ship in early March, June, September, and December.

Make it yours

Fully customizable: swap any bottle for something else in the cellar in the window before the wine ships. Want more of a favorite? Add bottles to any release.

Charged before it ships

No fee to join. Your card is charged one to two weeks before each shipment goes out, and you will know both the amount and the lineup first. Shipping is included on orders of $100 or more.

Common questions

What does it cost?
There is no fee to join. You are only charged when wine ships. Twelve-bottle shipments range from $350 to $550 per order plus applicable tax. Prices vary because the wines change with each release. You will know not only the amount but the offering before your card is charged.
When do shipments go out?
Quarterly releases go out in early March, June, September, and December each year. Exact dates depend on when the wines are ready. Your card is charged one to two weeks before each shipment, and we ship on Mondays to minimize time in transit.
Can I cancel?
Yes. We ask every member to receive at least two shipments before cancelling. After that, you can cancel at any time by logging into your account. All cancellations must be received at least two weeks before the next scheduled ship date to apply to that shipment.
What about shipping?

Shipping is included on all Prix Fixe club orders of $100 or more, and every release clears that, so your club shipments ship at no extra cost. We cannot ship to Alaska, Delaware, Rhode Island, or Utah.

We ship on Mondays and try to hold for extreme weather. We ship via Fedex or UPS.

An adult 21 or older has to be home to sign. That is federal law, not us being fussy. The carrier makes three attempts, and after the third the wine heads back to the winery.

If a shipment comes back to us, a 20% restocking fee plus the non-refundable carrier charges in both directions come out of your refund. No fun for anyone, so let us land it on the first try.

Pro tip
Ship to a work address, or a nearby FedEx or UPS pickup spot. Someone is always there to sign, and your bottles skip the porch.

Can I put my membership on hold?
Yes. You can place your membership on hold after your first two shipments by logging into your account. Just make the change at least two weeks before the next shipment date so we can adjust in time.
What perks come with membership?
Membership is built around access, not a discount. You get complimentary tastings and event tickets, access to our Reserve wines with guaranteed allocations, and invitations to exclusive member events. Shipping is included on any order of $100 or more.
Can I give a membership as a gift?
Absolutely. Gift memberships include all the same benefits. Shipments and club materials go to your recipient, and your card is charged for each shipment. You choose the length of the membership when you enroll them, or set it to run indefinitely and let us know in writing when you would like it to end.
What is the difference between Prix Fixe and Yacht Club?
Prix Fixe is our quarterly release club. We pick the wines, you get a selection four times a year, plus perks: complimentary tastings and event tickets, access to our Reserve wines with guaranteed allocations, and invitations to member events. Yacht Club is more flexible: three bottles shipped monthly or every two months at a flat rate, with the ability to swap individual bottles each shipment. Prix Fixe is for people who want us to surprise them. Yacht Club is for people who like to steer.
